PUBLIC NOTICE
The written test for various posts in the Bank’s subsidiary JKBFSL has been conducted in a transparent and professional manner by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) which is the nodal agency for conducting written tests for recruitment in all major Banks in the country. IBPS is an agency of immaculate track record whose governing board comprises of nominees from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Ministry of Finance, Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Mumbai, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance(IIBF), National Institute of Bank Management(NIBM), Indian Banks” Association(IBA) and the public sector banks. Post declaration of the results of the written examination by the IBPS, the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview of JKBFSL has been put in public domain through all the major newspapers on 12thJanuary, 2019 besides, a link has been placed on the JKBFSL website where all the applicants can check their results. This has been done to ensure complete transparency in the recruitment process. A complete merit list of the selected candidates will be published after completion of the selection process in due course of time.
However, it has come to the notice of the Bank that there is a parochial attempt by some vested interests to misguide the applicants/public with baseless misinformation about the selection inter alia, being skewed to a particular region. The public in general and applicants in particular are cautioned not to give in to such nefarious and misleading statements. However, any candidate who needs any clarification in this regard may visit the office of the JKBFSL on any working day after 4 P.M.
We would like to take this opportunity to underscore that Bank reserves its right to initiate legal action against any person/ organization that may indulge in false propaganda to mislead the general public by circulating malicious and fabricated information. Bank reiterates that the recruitment process at J&K Bank and its subsidiaries is completely transparent and people should, neither fall prey to any allurement by some malicious elements claiming to be agents nor get carried away by any misinformation campaign.
The rumour about the declaration of result on today for Class 11th is false. The result declaration is likely to take few more days.

Candidates are also advised to strictly follow the instructions contained thereto in the said schedule.

All the eligible candidates who have applied for the post of Driver, Conductor, Security Guard, Helper & Jr. Assistant (contractual Basis) vide notification No JKSRTC/MD/PS/121 dated 19-04-2018 in JKSRTC are hereby informed for their written test will be held w.e.f. 29-01-2019 to 30-01-2019 in both the provinces of Jammu and Kashmir.

Directorate of School Education Jammu is organizing free coaching for the students of Government Schools who have qualified 10+2 Examination (Winter Zone) or are appearing in 10+2 Examination (Summer Zone) for competitive Examination like NEET/IIT-JEE/JKCET/Orientation programme for Civil Services. There shall be a screening test for selected students. The eligibility for appearing in the screening test is minimum pass percentage required for appearing in the NEET/IIT-JEE/JKCET Examination.
The applications of nearly 850 interested and eligible candidates have already been received through
concerned Chief Education Officers. However to give wider publicity and to ensure that no eligible / interested students is left out, this public notice is being issued to invite applications from all the eligible canidates (ignore if already applied).

It is hereby notified that “Written Test” of the shortlisted candidates who have applied for the post of Library Assistant in response to Adv. The first JEE (Main) Examination was conducted by NTA between 8th and 12th January, 2019 in two shifts per day across 258 cities in the country and abroad. A total number of 9, 29,198 candidates were registered for Paper –I (B.E. /B. Tech.) in this examination. There were 467 examination centres across the country and abroad. A total number of 566 Observers, 254 City- Coordinators and 25 State Coordinators were deployed at these centres to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of examination. The Paper-I was conducted in a total of 8 shifts from 9th to 12th January 2019. The results of Paper- I have been declared today.

It is notified for the information of all the stakeholders in General and the candidates of Class 11th and 12th, in
particular that:
1- The Syllabi and Courses of Studies for Higher Secondary Part-Ist (Class 11th) of Urdu, and Bio-technology have been revised /changed from the Academic Session 2018-19 in case of Kashmir Division/Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division including Leh and Kargil districts and Academic session 2019-20 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.
2- That the syllabus and Courses of Study for Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) of Environmental Science has been revised/changed from the Academic Session 2018-19 in case of Kashmir Division/winter Zone areas of Jammu Division including Leh & Kargil districts and Academic Session 2019-20 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.
3- It is also to notify that the syllabi of one newly introduced subject “Food Technology” has been prescribed for 11th Class from the Academic Session 2018-19 and onwards.
The question papers for Regular/Fresh Private candidates who have to appear in Annual Session scheduled to be held in October-Nov., 2019 in Kashmir Division/Winter zone areas of Jammu Division including Leh & Kargil districts and in Feb-March 2020 in Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division shall be set from the revised/changed syllabi of above mentioned subject/s.

In continuation of Notification No. PSC/Exam/83/2018 dated: 12/12/2018, it is hereby notified for information of all the candidates who have applied in response to the Notification No.PSC/Exam/2018/27 dated:23.04.2018, that the Preliminary/Screening Test earlier scheduled to be held on 10th February 2019 shall now be held on 27.02.2019. This issues in view of the fact that some of the candidates have also applied against the posts of Range Officer Grade-I Wildlife, advertised vide Notification No.PSC/Exam/2018/28 dated:19.04.2018 who would be at a disadvantageous position if both the exams are held on the same date.
