The interviews of the candidates who have applied for engagement of non-gazetted cadre as per advertisement notification No. JKMSCL/Adm/42/2018/11-12 dated 04-08-2018 issued by J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd.

Whereas, vide this office order No.493-HD of 2018 dated:-13-06-2018, formal appointment order in their favour were issued with the direction to join/report for duty to the concerned Assistant Directors within a period of 21 days; and

Whereas, Joint Director Handicrafts, Jammu vide letter No.HD/JDHJ/Estt/1361 Dated:-20-09—2018 has conveyed that aforementioned appointees have failed to join their places of appointment within 21 days (even till date); and

Whereas, vide this office No. HD/Estt/A/4261-63 dated 12-10-2018 1st. notice to the aforementioned candidates were issued and published through print media viz State Times on 18.10.2018; and

Whereas in response to the aforementioned first notice, the aforesaid candidates have failed to join their places of appointment within the stipulated time period of 07 days (even till date) as reported by the Joint Director Handicrafts, Jammu vide her office communication No. HD/JDHJ/Estt/1736 dated 19-11-2018; and

Whereas, vide this office No:HD/Estt/A/5024-26 dated:- 06-12-2018, 2nd notice to the aforementioned selected/appointed candidates was issued and published through print media viz, Daily Excelsior, Jammu on 18-12-2018 wherein they have been asked to join the Department within a period of 07 days. But till date these candidates have not joined the Department as reported by the Joint Director Handicrafts, Jammu vide communication No: JDHJ/Estt/2214 dated:- 07.01.2019; and
Now, therefore, in light of above, the aforementioned selected/appointed candidates from Sr. Nos.01 to 02 above are given final and last opportunity to join the Department within a period of 07 days failing which it shall be presumed that they are not interested to join the department against the said posts and accordingly their appointments will be cancelled and the J&K Services Selection Board shall accordingly be requested to issue the waiting list to enable the Department to fill up the vacancies.

On successful completion of the interview and abiding by other requisite criteria of all the eligible candidates, and as approved by District Selection Committee, Anantnag constituted vide Govt. FCS&CA Provisional Selection list of candidates for”End to End Computerization under TPDS” Operation purely on need basis.

In pursuance to Govt. Order No. 92-FCS&CA of 2017 dated 24-04-2017 and in compliance to letter No. DFCS&CA/Plg/1612-26 dated 09-06-2018 and thereafter vide this office No. DFCS&CA/AND/18/354- 56 dated 23-06-2018, applications for hiring of Manpower for “End to End Computerization of TPDS “operation purely on need basis for a period of (3) three months were invited from the eligible candidates of district Srinagar.

Whereas, this office received (92) application forms from the aspirants of district Srinagar, out of which (45) candidates were shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 in order to provide opportunity to the maximum candidates as per the following weightage to their respective academic qualification.

10+2     =          60 points

1 year diploma/Degree in Computer Applications =     20 points

Viva Voice     = 20 points

Whereas, this office prepared a merit list and accordingly the same was published in the leading News Papers of Kashmir Valley for objection if any from 29-12-2018 to 05-01 -2019 vide notification No. FCS&CA/ADN/18/2966-68 dated 26-12-2018 .

Whereas, this office did not receive any objection in the shape of application as well as in person during the period viz 29-12-2019 to 05-01-2019.

Whereas ,the selection list has been framed/prepared on the basis of the academic merit as well as the performance in the interview and as such, sanction is hereby accorded for provisional list of the candidates for “End to End Computerization of TPDS” operation purely on need basis for a period of (3) Three months as shown in the Annexure-A of this notification.

The selected candidates shall report to the office of the undersigned located at “Hotel Lotus Munwarabad, Srinagar, Kashmir, within (7) days from the date of issuance of this notification and after expiry of the stipulated time, the selection of the candidates shall be treated as cancelled henceforth and the candidates from the waiting list shall be considered accordingly.

The selected candidates have to deposit original documents of their academic as well as technical qualification besides the selectees have to deposit an undertaking in the shape of affidavit duly attested by the 1* class Magistrate stating therein that they shall not claim for regularization/ extension and shall not file the case in court of law for any claim etc and also furnish Character certificate issued by the concerned Police Station.

Any candidate found guilty, impersonating of submitting fabricated documents or making false or incorrect information rendered by him or her is liable for criminal prosecution under law.

Whereas .Member Secretary, on behalf of Selection Committee Rehbar-i-khel positions, constituted vide the Govt, vide Order No. 153-Edu(YSS) of 2017, Dt: 06-12-2017 under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner advertised these positions vide Advertisement Notice issued under No. DYSSO/Sgr/3559-62, Dated: 29 12-2017 which was published in Greater Kashmir on 2nd January. 2018. The aspirants were advised to submit their application forms within 21 days from the date of publication. The last was further extended till 15th of February, 2018 on the directions of District Development Commissioner, Srinagar vide No. DDCS/Rehber-i-Khel/13906, Dt: 03.02.2018. During the prescribed time 115 application forms were received against 71 positions as per following break-up:

  1. Whereas Honb’le High Court of Jammu and Kashmir under SWP No. 240/2018 dated 13 02-2018. passed a direction not to finalize the process of selection for post of Rehbar-i-khel till next date of hearing. Again Honb’le High Court on 22-05-2018 (SWP No: 1096/2018) passed a direction that it would be in the interest of public service of the organization concerned and all the candidates to direct the respondents to carry forward the selection process in all the districts in accordance with the law as enunciated by the court on the subject. However, the results thereof shall not be published and shall remain subject to outcome of this and the above writ petition. Further the Honb’le court on 07-09-2018 directed that the respondents shall produce results of selection process to the post of Rehbar-i-Khel in different districts advertised in terms of notification pursuant to Govt. Order no.141-edu (YSS)of 2017 dated 24-10-2017 in sealed cover. Finally the Hon’ble Court on 23-10-2018 while disposing of the petition passed an order whereunder the respondents were directed to declare and publish the results of the selection process initiated for the post of Rehbar-i-Khel in different Districts advertised in terms of Govt. Order no.141 -edu (YSS)of 2017 dated 24-10-2017, notwithstanding the order of this court dated: 07 09-2018.
  2. Whereas ,the District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Chairman Rehbar-i-khel selection Committee vide No. DDCS/Rehber-i-Khel/6850-51, dated: 25-10-2018 fixed the interview dates on 02-11-2018 for zones Batamaloo, Gulabbagh and Hawal & 03-11-2018 for zones Amirakadal, Nishat, Zaldagar, Iddgah and Rainawari at DC Office complex. Srinagar and the same was published in Daily Newspaper (Greater Kashmir) on 30 10-2018.
  3. Whereas, the interview of Rehbare-I-Khel applicants (Zone Wise) was conducted on prescribed dates. However, in Zone Batmaloo 04 applicants & in Zone Gulab Bagh 02 applicants could not present themselves before the interview committee and remained absent. Besides, in Zone Batmaloo, one candidate was found ineligible as he was not possessing the requisite / prescribed qualification.
  4. Whereas, abiding by all requirements / prescribed criteria, the final merit list has been prepared by the Selection Committee strictly as per merit secured by the candidates (Zone Wise) both in academic as well as in interview. Accordingly a provisional selection list alongwith waiting list (as per latest Govt, orders) for the positions of Rehber-i-Khel in respect of 08 zones of District Srinagar has been drawn , which is enclosed herewith this notification as Annexure-A for the information of all concerned. Further, it is hereby informed to all the concerned to file objections if any, in person in the office of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Srinagar (Member Secretary) within a period of 07 days from the date of publication of this notification, thereafter, no objections shall be entertained after the expiry of 07 days and the recommendations shall be made to the Competent Authority.
  5. Whereas , the list is purely provisional and subject to the outcome of objections, if any. Also the Provisional selection list is subject to outcome of writ petition/s, if any, pending disposal before any court of competent jurisdiction and also subject to relevance / validity of all the Degrees / Testimonials / Certificates in respect of their candidature alongwith recognition status of their Institutes / Colleges / Universities.

The Examination will be held at J&K PSC Examination Hall, Jammu and J&K PSC Examination Hall, Srinagar.

The allotment of centres shall be at the sole discretion of the Commission and once a Centre is allotted to a candidate, request for change of Centre will neither be entertained nor will the Commission respond to request for change of Centre.

How to apply

  1. i) The Candidate should carefully mention about his/her choice for the Centre viz Jammu/Srinagar and the papers ur at jkalerts dot com he wants to appear in the examination while filling up the Online Application Form
  2. The necessary instructions regarding filling up of online applications are given herein bclow:-
  3. Candidates are required to apply online through the website of the Commission i.e http://www.jkpsc.nic.in. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted.
  4. Candidates arc first required to go to the JKPSC website jkpsc.nic.in and click on the link “One Time Registration” or click on Login menu if you have already created your profile with the JK PSC.
  5. After logging into your account, candidates are required to 1111 all the requisite fields of One Time Registration (OTR) i.e. personal information, contact information & educational qualification, service details and uploading of documents etc.
  6. The candidate shall also be required to upload the images of recent photograph and signature. Photograph image must mention the date in which it is taken.
  7. Size of the photograph (passport size) and signature must be between lOkB to 20kB in *.jpeg or *.jpg only.
  8. After successful submission of all the details in your OTR account, check the eligibility conditions as mentioned in the advertisement notification before applying for the post.
  9. Click on the “show jobs” as shown against the respective post/examination you want to apply.
  10. On Clicking on the “show jobs” a window will appear on your computer screen. Select the month of the advertisement notification for which you want to apply, a link(s) for the post(s) will appear on the computer screen.
  11. An “APPLY” button is shown against the respective post and the candidates will click on the APPLY button against the post he/she is eligible.
  12. On clicking “APPLY” button, an instruction window will appear. Candidates should read instructions carefully before clicking on “APPLY” button at the bottom of the webpage.

NTA reschedules CMAT 2019 exam for Kashmir Region

NTA reschedules CMAT exam for Kashmir Valley based aspirants.

Due to the closing of the Srinagar-Jammu Highway on account of snowfall and landslides, the Common Management Admission Test, 2019 (CMAT-2019) is rescheduled to 29.01.2019 (09:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) only for affected candidates belonging to Srinagar (187 candidates of Srinagar region who were allotted Examination Centre in Jammu), on the request of the local Administration of Srinagar.

These Candidates will now have their Examination Centres in Srinagar on 29.01.2019 (09:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.). The Centre details in Srinagar will be informed by 27.01.2019 through Email/SMS.

The Candidates are advised to remain in constant touch with the NTA CMAT Website (https://ntacmat.nic.in/ntacmatcms/public/home.aspx) and check their Email/SMS, for further updates in the matter.

For other Candidates there is no change in the Examination schedule.

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 1st and 2nd Semester under Choice based Credit System Scheme in B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com/B.Sc (Home science) programmes at under-graduate levels in the Constituent Colleges of the University.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  1. All programmes are full time regular courses for the duration of three years.
  2. Candidate shall have to submit online registration form only once at the time of Admission. Hard copy of registration form, fee receipt/online payment confirmation receipt, along with the required set of certificates is to be submitted in the college concerned before the expiry of the last date.
  3. Candidates shall have to deposit University Fee component of Rs. 850/- through online mode only, which includes non-refundable Application Form fee of Rs. 100/- and refundableRegistration /University Component fee of Rs.750/- (refundable only for those candidates who are not granted admission in any course by the College). However, in case of non-residentstudents, an additional Eligibility fee of Rs.110/- is to be deposited along-with the normal fee of Rs. 850/-.
  4. Candidates shall have to deposit College Component of Fee at the Concerned College where the admission is sought.
  5. Candidates can choose any subject combination, specified to a programme offered by the concerned college as per CBCS Scheme, and as per his/her eligibility.
  6. The selection of the candidate to B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (Home Science) programmes shall be based on the merit obtained at the 10+2 level examination and intake capacity of the College for that programme.
  7. Candidate/s who have any discrepancy/deficiency in terms of result awaited, having a gap of more than one year, re-checking/ re-evaluation, late result (in case of CBSE students) shall be granted provisional admission on their own risk and responsibility and are advised to produce an undertaking duly sworn before 1st class magistrate that, they will submit requisite eligibility documents before 30th of May 2019.
  8. Verification of documents will be made at any point of time during admission process. The admission will be rejected if it is found that the applicant does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or has misrepresented/suppressed the information regarding category and other details.
  9. In case a student is not granted admission in any course, he/she shall be eligible for refund of admission fee (University Component) as per rules of the University.
  10. Constituent Colleges shall ensure that admissions are completed by or before 23rd February, 2019 so that class work for the 1st Semester is started from March 1st, 2019 without any delay.
  11. All the constituent colleges shall upload the Registration Return (RR)online and, moreover, forward hard copy of RR within 30 days after commencement of the Class work.

J&K Legal Metrology Department JKLM Interview Notification for the post of Class-IV.

It is notified for the Information of all concerned that Interview of candidates, shown at Annexure”A” and Annexure”B” of this notice, who have been provisionally shortlisted for Interview vide LM/C-Esstt./03/2013 dated 26-06-2018 and LM/C-Estt/103/2018 Dated 16-10- 2018, for the post of Class-IV Jammu Division, against Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2017 dated 08-12-2017 and Class-IV -(State Cadre) under RBA advertised vide Adv. Notice No.:- 01 of 2018 Dated 12-07-2018 respectively, shall be conducted on 12th of February 2019 (Tuesday) at 11:00 AM, in office chambers of Controller, Legal Metrology Department, J&K, Transport Nagar, Narwal, Jammu.

The interview schedule and particulars of the eligible candidates will be also available on the Departmental Website www.jklm.nic.in.

The candidates are advised to bring Xerox copy of each certificate self attested by the candidate himself on the scheduled date and time of interview In addition to original documents, failing which no claim /objection in this regard shall be entertained.

The candidate(s) who fail to appear in the interview on the scheduled date and time shall not be considered for further selection.

The candidates have been included in the interview list provisionally and only such candidates shall be allowed to appear in the interview who are within age, possess valid prescribed qualification and valid category certificates issued before cut-off date.

The additional qualifications/reserved category certificate acquired by the candidate after the cutoff date of application forms shall not be entertained.

Mere figuring of name in the list does not entitle a candidate to appear in the interview as it shall be subject to the scrutiny of all testimonials of the candidates shortlisted.

No further interview call/letter shall be issued to any candidate whose names figure in the said list and they are required to appear before the interview committee on the schedule date & time.

The candidates shall have to produce all original certificates / testimonials as asked for vide above referred advertisement notification before the selection committee at the time of interview. The candidates who fail to produce such certificates/testimonials shall be deemed to have forfeited their claim for selection.

Any candidate found guilty of impersonating or submitting fabricated / tampered documents /testimonials or making false or incorrect statements or suppressing material information shall be liable for criminal prosecution under law and may be debarred permanently for appointment in the Department. Also canvassing/lobbying in any form will entail disqualification of the candidate.

Mobile Phone(s) are not allowed in the office premises.
