Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) online application last date extended.
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 13th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 08-12-2019 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 110 cities all over the country. The online application-process for CTET December 2019 examination has been started from 19-08-2019.
It is hereby informed that due to administrative reasons, the last date for submitting online application has been extended till 30-09-2019 (Monday) and the fee can be paid upto 03-10-2019 (Thursday) till 15.30 PM.
Online correction in particulars of application form will be available from 04-10-2019 (Friday) to 10-10-2019 (Thursday). No corrections shall be allowed under any circumstances after this date.
The Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee. and examination cities are available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in. The interested candidates may apply through online mode accordingly.

Skill Development Courses at University of Jammu University Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Centre (UESDC) has been established out of the grants sanctioned under RUSA-II by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Govt. of India, in the University of Jammu. The Centre focuses on Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Skill development of youth to enhance their employability in consonance with Skill India initiative of the Government of India. UESDC shall be starting the following Skill Based Courses in the main campus, University of Jammu from October 15, 2019:
1. Certificate Course in Mushroom Cultivation
2. Certificate Course in Java Programming
Charges: No Course Fee
Eligibility: The training courses are meant for unemployed youth having minimum qualification
i) (10+2) for certificate course in Mushroom Cultivation and
ii) Science / Engineering Graduate with Mathematics upto 10+2 level for Java Programming.
Number of seats per Course: 30 Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of recommendations of the Expert Committee.
Outcome of Course: On successful completion of course, the trainee will have the option of:
(a) Starting the business as Start-up / Entrepreneur, for which guidance and support will be provided by UESDC
(b) Trainees can also seek employment on the basis of improved skill set.

The Directorate of School Education Jammu today ordered change in school timing in all the Government as well as Private schools in Summer Zone of Jammu Division.
9 am to 3 pm within Municipal limits.
10 am to 4 pm in rural areas.

All the Government, as well as Private (recognized) schools upto Higher Secondary level in Summer Zone of Jammu Division, shall observe school timing from 9 am to 3 pm within Municipal limits and 10 am to 4 pm in rural areas with effect from October 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020.
