Cluster University Srinagar Amar Singh College has initiated Online Classrooms.

In view of the prevailing situation arisen due to the lockdown caused by the COVID-19, the college has initiated an alternate pedagogy of Teaching-Learning process using the Online Classrooms on Google Educational Platform. The Google Classrooms for various semesters and subjects have been set up by the faculty members of the college wherein tutorials in the form of Audio/Video, e-books/ PDF files and regular assessments are updated on daily basis.

The student community in general and the students of Amar Singh College in particular are advised to take benefit of the same by joining the Online Classrooms. The detailed list of the Google Classrooms along with the faculty name, subject name and code required for joining are available on the college website http: ascollegelive.net/ematerial.

NTA Extension / Revision of Dates for various Examinations.

NTA Extension / Revision of Dates for submission of Online Application Forms for various Examinations.

In view of the hardships faced by the parents and the students due to COVID-19 epidemic, the National Testing Agency has extended/ revised the dates of submission of Online Application Forms for various Examinations.

Accordingly, the Extended/ Revised Dates shall be as follows.

NTA Extension / Revision of Dates for various Examinations.

Submission of Online Application Forms shall be accepted upto 04.00 PM and Submission of fee upto 11.50 PM

The requisite fee can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM.

The detailed schedule mentioning revised dates of downloading of Admit Cards and of Examination will be displayed separately on respective examination website(s) and www.nta.ac.in, after assessment of the situation after 15.04.2020 only.

NTA understands the importance of academic calendar and schedule, but it is equally concerned about the wellbeing of every citizen including students.

NTA would expect students and parents to not worry about the Examination. Moreover, parents are requested to help young students utilize this time for preparing for the Examination and focus on critical concepts in order to close learning gaps if any. NTA would keep students updated about the latest developments and would inform about changes with ample time.

The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting the respective examination website and www.nta.ac.in for latest updates.

Due to outbreak of COVID-19, as a precautionary measure, all the ongoing examination of JKBOSE for classes 10th, 11th and 12th being held across Jammu and Kashmir were postponed upto 31-03-2020, are being now postponed till further orders.

Further, the conduct of test shall be decided by the Board after taking holistic view of health Advisory issued by UT Government of J&K from time to time. If need arises, the Board shall decide accordingly and separately notify future course of action for admission/selection of candidates in the above said courses/colleges.

Selection list of Demonstrators, in the Department of Microbiology Government Medical College Srinagar.

In view of Covid-19 Pandemic and Pursuant to the recommendations of Selection Committee which met on 19th March 2020, the following Non PSC candidates who have applied for the post of Demonstrator in the Department of Microbiology, Government Medical College are provisionally engaged as Demonstrator on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of one year which is extendable upto (03) years for MD candidates, on basis of good performance to be certified by the concerned HOD: –

The tenure appointment of above NPSC doctors is on academic arrangement basis and will be governed by the rules and regulations as envisaged in SRO. 24 of 2019 Dated. 10-01-2019.

The appointment of the above doctors is further subject to the following terms and conditions:-

  • Before joining the Department the selectee shall submit an affidavit duly attested by the Judicial Magistrate/first class Magistrate to the effect that: –
    • he/she is Non-PSC, the information if found wrong the selectee shall be punished under Rules which includes confiscation of the Registration of the Doctor.
    • he/she will not participate in any kind of strike during the period of his/her tenure engagement, in the event he/she proceeded on strike, his/her tenure engagement shall be terminated without any notice as this service is covered under ESMA Act.
    • he/shall remain disciplined during the tenure period any kind of misconduct make him/her liable for termination without any prior notice.
    • he/she is not involved in any criminal activity or there is no FIR pending or registered in any criminal department or police station against him/her.
    • he/she leaving the job in midway shall not be untitled for any experience convenience.
    • he/she will not indulge himself/herself in any private practice in case he/she is found during private practice his/her appointment shall be terminated without any notice.
  • The above NPSC doctors shall have to execute an agreement with the institution on a prescribed format (Form A) with regard to the various terms and conditions applicable during academic arrangement.
  • The appointee is required to join within seven days from the date of issuance of this order failing which the order shall be deemed to have cancelled.
  • The Demonstrators appointed on academic arrangement basic shall be paid as SRO 24 of 2019 dated: 10-01-2019.

Appointment of candidates under SRO-202 for the post of “Junior Staff Nurse” Health and Medical Education Department (Government Medical College Anantnag) under Advertisement /item No.08/2019/001, Divisional Cadre Kashmir.

Pursuant to the recommendation of J&K Services Selection Recruitment Board vide No. SSB/ Secy/Sel/K/44/2020/2545-51 dated 02.04.2020 and endorsement of Health & Medical Education Department vide letter No. ME /NG/ New /GMC /01/2019 dated 03.04.2020, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of the candidates listed in Annexure “A” to this order as “Junior Staff Nurse” Health and Medical Education Department (Government Medical College Anantnag) Divisional Cadre Kashmir under SRO-202 of 2015 dated 30.06.2015 in the payscale of Level 4 (25500-81100).

Appointment in favour of selected candidates whose recommendations is withheld shall be issued only after release of “with held recommendations” from JKSSRB.

The appointment of these candidates shall be subject to the following conditions:

The appointed candidates who fail to join within a period of 21 (Twenty one) days from the date of issuance of the appointment order shall forego their right to appointment which shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio without any further notice.

Verification/Genuineness of the qualification certificates and the reserved category certificates from the concerned issuing authorities and recognition of Institutions issuing degree/diploma. The appointment of these candidates shall be governed by SRO-202 of 2015 dated 30.06.2015. The appointees shall be governed by the “New Pension Scheme” as notified vide SRO-400 of 2009 dated 24.12.2009.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi is an autonomous organisation set up in 1961 by the Government of India, Ministry of HRD to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programmes for qualitative improvement in school education and teacher education. The eight constituent units of NCERT, located in different parts of the country, include: (i) RIE, Ajmer; (ii) RIE, Bhopal; (iii) RIE, Bhubaneswar; (iv) RIE, Mysore; (v) NERIE, Shillong; (vi) NIE, New Delhi; (vii) CIET, New Delhi; and (viii) PSSCIVE, Bhopal.
